The host of this hotel is very kind and offers a warm welcome and great hospitality. Tea is offered upon arrival. Excellent recommendations for sightseeing and dining options are available from the lovely host, but it's not intrusive at all.
This hotel has a prime spot from which to see the surrounding countryside. Nearby Tideswell is an interesting village with plenty to see and do including fine eateries. This is good walking country with easy access to Dales and Peaks, and near Eyam Hall, Bakewell, and Matlock.
