The hostel does provide wireless internet at in all areas no extra cost, however a number of people have commented on it being either quite slow or the connection being intermittent, so you may be better off looking for a café with Wi-Fi to use for heavier tasks than the odd e-mail, for example.
Island Time being quite centrally located can sometimes make for some loud music at night which can be a disturbance in some of the rooms. To ensure this doesn’t happen, request a room furthest away from the main road and perhaps pack some earplugs to be safe.
Although there are lockers for guests’ use in the lounge and a luggage store at the front desk, there is nowhere to lock up your valuables in the rooms which can be inconvenient and may make some guests uneasy.
