Positive Reviews
positive:
Central Valencia location.
Guests say that the location's perfect for exploring Valencia - not only is it within walking distance of the attractions in the historic centre, but you'll be close to the tram for seeing other parts of the city. Plus, guests say that Ad Hoc Monumental is positioned on a quiet street, making it very pleasant.
positive:
Superb service.
The staff seem to go the extra mile at this hotel, helping out with individual guest requests, and providing plenty of local information to give you the best stay possible. Whatever you need, there should be a friendly member of staff at the front desk to help.
positive:
Stylish, characterful rooms.
If you're charmed by historical features and stylish surroundings, then you'll love this hotel. Guests are wowed by the sensitive decoration and the light, airy feel of the rooms, especially rating the ones which have balconies. The beds also get the thumbs up, with the majority of guests sleeping soundly.
Negative Reviews
negative:
The breakfast is a bit expensive.
Some guests didn't feel that the breakfast was worth the extra money, saying that the selection is a bit limited given the amount paid. If you're keen to get out and about and aren't bothered about a big breakfast, then you might prefer grabbing a snack elsewhere and saving your money for other things.
negative:
Some noise issues.
Some guests find that noise can be a bit of an issue at this hotel, with some of the street-facing rooms affected by the noise of passing traffic. Another problem seems to be internal noise from neighbouring rooms.
negative:
Lack of tea and coffee.
Guests would appreciate fridges for keeping drinks cool, and would also like a greater selection of tea and coffee in the rooms. As it is, the rooms have a kettle and some herbal teas, but guests would like the option of coffee, milk, and English breakfast tea.
