About Caro Hotel
The Caro Hotel is situated within a former palace. It's in the centre of the Valencia, a few steps away from the cathedral.
Francesc Rifé designed the rooms individually in muted tones. All offer air conditioning , minibar and flat-screen television. Bulgari toiletries are in the bathrooms along with bathrobes and slippers.
The hotel was originally the dwelling of the Marqués de Caro and the building retains some former architectural features such as arches and mosaics. There is also an outdoor pool, a lift and free newspapers in the lobby area.
The Caro hotel's restaurant, The Alma del Temple, serves modern Mediterranean cuisine. It also caters for celiacs and vegetarians. The Meta bar serves drinks and has an outdoor terrace.
Located in the Seu-Xerea area, the hotel is fifteen minutes from the airport and ten minutes from two metro stations. The basilica and Plaza de la Virgen are five-minutes' walk away.

Great Breakfast and Professional Staff.
The staff are without exception highly professional and most welcoming. They provide excellent service to guests and always with a smile. The food in the hotel is excellent, from the freshly cooked breakfast which offers cooked meats and eggs or cold cuts

Free Minibar is a Nice Touch.
The little touches make a stay here extra special. Free tea in bone china cups delivered by room service and free soft drinks and snacks in the rooms' minibars which are restocked two times a day.

Restaurant Closed During the Week.

Not Enough Surfaces in Rooms.
Some found the interior room design too minimal to be functional. The lack of furniture in the rooms means that there aren't many surfaces on which to place or organise the contents of your suitcase. Likewise, there isn't much room to lay out the free tea

All the rooms have an open plan bathroom. Some guests would prefer that the bathrooms were kept wholly separate from the main bedroom for reasons of aesthetics and privacy.
