There is a popular bar here that can get quite busy and noisy during the evenings. If you are trying to get an early night and want to rest the commotion downstairs might keep you up into the night.
Unfortunately the level of cleanliness throughout the hotel does leave some room for improvement. You might notice some mould in the dark corners of the bathroom and stray hairs here and there.
If you need to stay connected to the internet while in Penzance do not rely on the free Wi-Fi provided here. If you're lucky enough to be able to connect to it the low speed is likely to infuriate you.
