Hotel Beachfield (Penzance, United Kingdom)

The hotel is in an ideal location overlooking Mount bay and the beach. Many of the rooms have a view over the bay allowing guests to watch the sun go down on an evening whilst relaxing in their room.

The hotel rooms are well furnished with large double or superior beds giving those staying a great nights sleep. The fluffy complimentary robes and slippers have also been mentioned to give a home from home feel whilst in the rooms, and the bathrooms benefit from local handmade soaps.

There is a hearty breakfast included with the stay which has been described as being very tasty by many guests. This is enjoyed in the dining room within the hotel where all of the food served is locally sourced by the chef.

The showers and toilets can be noisy which has been been mentioned in previous guests reviews. Toilets flushed in the night wakes guests below as the noise lasts quite a while.

Unfortunately the hotel does not have a lift so those staying on the second floor can only use the stairs. Disabled guests or those of an older age may choose to ask for a ground floor room for easy access.

Guests staying for longer periods of time have explained the rooms are hardly touched by the cleaners. No cleaning on a regular basis, no clean towels or new tea and coffee.
