About Trinity Silom Hotel
Sleek and uncompromisingly modern, Trinity Silom Hotel offers guests looking for a peaceful oasis amongst the hubbub well placed central accommodation.
With their Zen-inspired minimalism, the rooms provide a calm oasis in one of the world’s most frantic cities. Each features air conditioning, minibar, flat screen TV with cable channels, iPod dock, in-room safe, tea/coffee station and blackout curtains.
Glow Trinity has terrific wellness facilities including sauna, gym, outdoor pool, jogging track, basketball court and tennis court. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the property.
A basic breakfast is available on-site, but it is the Roadhouse Saloon that really wows the guests. It serves the best American style fare, and the coldest beer in Bangkok, to hungry diners.
Glow Trinity is in an excellent position for access to the metro. The Chong Nonsi Station is barely 200 yards from the hotel. The Grand Palace compound, with its amazing Emerald Buddha, is just four miles away.
Positive Reviews
positive:
Great pool terrace
The pool was probably guest's favourite feature of the hotel. They particularly liked that they could take a refreshing dip after a long and hot day in the city. But they also found that, unlike many city hotel pools, it was a decent size and they could actually do laps in it.
positive:
Remarkably quiet location
Again and again guests expressed their astonishment that a pretty central hotel in a frantic city like Bangkok could be so quiet. The reason appears to be because it is situated down a fairly small side street.
positive:
Very close to public transport
Guests mentioned that the hotel was very close to both the Skytrain and BTS system, so they only had a short walk and they could be whisked away to most of the locations in Bangkok they wanted to visit.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Pool in a separate building
It seems that there are two sections to the hotel. Guests in the annexe didn't seem to like the fact that they had to walk to the other building to access the pool.
negative:
Problems with the Wi-Fi
It seems a large number of guests experienced problems with the Wi-Fi. While hotel Wi-Fi is notoriously unreliable, there were even more complaints about it at Glow Trinity than usual. The problems were either that guests couldn't access it in their rooms, only in public areas, or that the whole system would go down for long periods of time.
negative:
Very long check-in process
Interestingly, quite a few guests mentioned that the check-in process seemed to take an inordinately long time. The reasons were not revealed to the guests, but they felt that it was an inefficient and irritating process when they really just wanted to get up to their rooms to rest after a long trip to Bangkok.
