Positive Reviews
positive:
A more mature stay.
While many seaside hotels are a family-friendly affair, this can often lead to greater noise and unattended children throughout the premises. The Royal Clarence's strict adults-only policy ensures that you'll receive a quieter and more refined experience,

Negative Reviews
negative:
Read the fine print.
Many guests were upset upon reaching the hotel, as the "no children" policy is not always included on some postings. Be sure that if you have children, you either secure a nanny for your stay or choose another hotel in the area.
negative:
Services at a cost.
Wi-Fi is available in public areas, but you'll need to pay a surcharge to have access to it in your room. According to some guests, the lack of a continental breakfast was also disconcerting, since there are no cooked foods available within the hotel.
negative:
Entertainment isn't for everyone.
If you're seeking a more serene stay, be sure to book your room for the weekdays rather than the weekends. Weekends feature live entertainment such as bands and other shows which are loud enough to travel through walls, as noted by several guests.
