Positive Reviews
positive:
Trendy and ergonomically designed rooms
Guests were clearly very impressed with the rooms themselves, for two main reasons. Firstly, they felt that they were very well designed, in the sense that everything was just were it should be, and had been set up to make really smart use of the space available. Secondly, most guests really liked the trendy modern design.
positive:
Convenient location
The hotel is between the CBD and airport, and guests seemed to have found this to be a very convenient spot to rest and revive. Both motorists and those using shuttles seemed to find it relatively convenient when travelling to/from the airport. Others mentioned that it was on a public transport route and that it was relatively straightforward to use this to travel into the heart of Brisbane. Several also mentioned that there were a number of great restaurants within walking distance.
positive:
Friendly and helpful staff
Too many guests to mention remarked that the hotel’s staff, especially those on reception duty, were incredibly friendly and helpful, immediately putting them at ease and making them feel welcome.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Some beds uncomfortable
A noticeable minority of guests did not find the hotel’s beds to be comfortable, with the main two complaints being that they were too small (double rather than queen or king size) and/or too hard for their liking.
negative:
Front facing rooms a bit noisy
The hotel is right on a major road, and those allocated rooms facing the front complained that they could get pretty noisy. This was, of course, a particular problem at night.
negative:
Bathroom floor prone to flooding
A number of guests pointed that their bathroom floor would usually get flooded when they had a shower. They usually recommended the installation of a shower curtain, or other barrier, to solve this problem.
