The Bear is in a great spot, right on the market square, with good car parking. You'll find yourself just a short stroll from restaurants and shops. There are some nice canal-side walks to be had as well.
The bar areas have a fine ambience and there is a strong selection of excellent local beers from which to choose, along with a decent wine list.
The showers at The Bear are quite poor. The water pressure is fairly dismal and it is pretty difficult to control the heat of the water as well. It's not the most refreshing experience.
