Parliament Hill, ByWard Market, Sparks Street, the art museum and the canal are all less than a mile from here. For those arriving by car there is parking available and a valet service to take the hassle away for you. Staff are very knowledgeable about the surrounding area and are happy to provide directions or recommendations.
The rooms are spacious, well-decorated and have all the amenities you would expect from a hotel of this calibre. The beds are extremely comfortable with good quality linens used and guests have referred back to their excellent night’s sleep whilst staying here.
There is an on-site swimming pool and this is an adequate size to swim some short lengths. For those wanting to stay fit whilst away from home there is also a small gym.
Due to its central location some street noise may be heard especially on lower levels. If you are a light sleeper it may be worth requesting a higher floor.
There have been lots of reports of some of the elevators being out of action and constantly having to be repaired. This then puts pressure on the remaining ones and queues can quickly start to form.
Whilst service is adequate it has not really wowed any of the guests and they feel it could be improved significantly. Things like long wait times in the restaurants and changes to opening times that were not advertised in advance.
