If you're looking for a place with some wonderful Scottish mountain and water views, this location is prime. Most of the rooms do have views of one or the other.

For travellers who stayed in a hostel before, many of them gave this location a thumbs-up. They also mentioned that since this is a hostel, and not a hotel, they weren't expecting anything extremely upscale or fancy so they weren't disappointed.

A number of visitors really enjoy the traditional Scottish dishes served here, so breakfast and dinner were both a hit. In addition to great eats, a number of the guests liked the modern, youthful atmosphere that flows around the property.

Some guests claim they felt uncomfortable because the staff can be rude at times. While most guests didn't seem to have an issue with the staff, others cited that they were treated very unfriendly and the staff had an impolite attitude.

Some guests cite that the live music will play until after midnight with crowds outside who can be noisy until the early morning. So if you're looking to get rest, or you're traveling with young children, this may not be the perfect location for you.

Visitors commented that they had to travel around the hotel to get a signal, and that's if they manage to get a signal at all. Most guests, however, didn't seem to have an issue with the Wi-Fi connection.
