Viva Fortuna Beach by Wyndham is an all-inclusive, family-friendly beach-side resort situated on the southern coast of the Grand Bahama Island.

Great dining and comfortable rooms
With the all-inclusive package guests were able to enjoy and choose from a variety of hot and cold dishes. Drinks including a variety of cocktails are also included in the price. The guest rooms are comfortable, well presented and kept clean by daily housekeeping. .

The resort is located right on the beach which is both beautiful and clean. Inclusive activities organized by the resort include yoga and dance lessons, kayaking, windsurfing, and snorkeling which you can do by exploring the many reefs in the area. .

The staff are hospitable, friendly and attentive. The entertainment team are also approachable, welcoming and encourage guests to get involved in the group activities. .

Dining experience disappoints
Guests were dissatisfied with the quality of the food offered. Over time the buffet dishes cooled down so that the servings were cold to lukewarm. The dishes offered were repetitive so that guests were offered the same options daily. Flies are prevalent in the dining area The restaurants are not air conditioned, making the dining experience unpleasant during hot weather. .

Old and outdated
The resort is in need of an upgrade. Some guests found the furnishings to be old and dated. The bed linen and towels were old and worn. In some cases the mattresses were also old, sagging and uncomfortable to sleep on. .

Bugs and cleanliness
The standard of cleanliness is not very high at this resort. Guests complained of dirty bed linen including hair found from previous guests. The bathrooms are not thoroughly cleaned, sometimes they are moldy and evidence of previous guests has also been found. Surfaces are dusty and there are ants and bugs in the room. .
