The Mantra Twin Towns is located just south of Coolangatta’s main shopping street, heading towards the Tweed Coast. The Mantra Twin Towns has a range of rooms and apartments on offer each has secure access, TV, private balcony, air-conditioning and a hair dryer. Guests have exclusive access to the indoor pool, gym and steam room. For tennis lovers there are two tennis court for a game with the family. Parking is also free. Via an undercover walkway the Twin Towns Services Club is adjacent and provides meals and a variety of entertainment. For other dining options in the area guests could try the Flame Restaurant, Raw Energy cafe or All India Taste restaurant. There is also an outdoor barbecue area for your convinience. Greenmount beach is a short seven minute walk and Snapper Rocks is a 20 minute stroll around the headland. The Coolangatta Airport is just five minutes by car.
The location of the hotel was consistently mentioned by previous guests as being very handy to everything in Coolangatta and in the Tweed area. Close to the beach and shops and a short walk to nearby restaurants and shops and connected via walkway to Twin Towns services club.
Guests really enjoyed the breakfast that was prepared by the hotel's restaurant team with many guests commenting on the tasty fresh food that was prepared daily. Guests also commented on the range of items at the buffet which seemed to cater to a lot of different tastes.
A lot of people travelling with their children or with family members commented that the hotel is set up really well for families with lots of activities to keep the kids amused whilst letting the adults relax. The staff were also rated highly by guests who said they were very friendly.
Guests were a little put off that they were slugged additional fees to hire extra towels, additional cots and to access some of the sporting equipment at the hotel. Whilst the fees were nominal these guests thought that they should have been included in the room tariff.
Guests who stayed for an extended period of time were not at all happy with the standard of housekeeping or the frequency of it. It seems that housekeeping were hard to get a hold of to clean rooms and when they did clean it was rushed and patchy.
Guests who rely on Wi-Fi to stay connected to family and friends and who need to book or plan their onward journey complained that the Wi-Fi at the hotel was very weak and unreliable which was a source of frustration.
