The majority of guests found the rooms comfortable and spacious. They also enjoyed the other areas around the hotel and said it felt expansive. In addition to being large, a number of visitors also thought that the guestrooms were clean and tidy.

Visitors who are able to enjoy the spa said they had a satisfying experience. The same is true with the swimming pool. It's also conveniently close to golf courses and the Newberry racecourse for people who want to do things off-site.

A majority of visitors to the restaurant enjoyed the meal they were served. Breakfast and dinner both earned high marks from visitors for taste, portions and presentation. Some mentioned that, in addition to being tasty, it was also reasonably priced.

Some visitors remarked that they had run-ins with staff concerning their booking. Others mentioned that the front desk staff and other locations, such as the bar and restaurant, seem disorganized. Overall, however, most people had enjoyable interaction with employees.

The lack of air-conditioning was a hindrance for some guests. They claim that the rooms can extremely warm. So if heat is an issue for you, guests point out that there is no AC at this location.

A few guests remarked that they expected the decor to be a little more inspiring and modern to garner such a high star rating. Others mentioned detractors of enjoyment such as beds that felt uncomfortable, walls that were thin, no AC and overpriced meals and drinks. The majority of travelers, however, didn't seem to have an issue with most of these complaints.
