Positive Reviews
positive:
Modern With Satisfactory Service
The hotel rooms are modern, clean, and neat. The atmosphere is relaxed, easy going, and pleasant. Beds are very comfortable, so you should have no problem getting a good night's sleep. The restaurant and bar have a pleasurable atmosphere as well. The open fire enhances the already calm setting. Carpeting, fixtures, and fittings are good quality.
positive:
Good Accessibility
The car park is conveniently accessible and they provide disabled spaces as well. The location is near Southampton and Winchester, if you just want to get away. Keep in mind, the facility is isolated so you can't just pop out the door and stroll to shops and restaurants. You will definitely need a car.
positive:
Congenial Efficient Staff
The staff are very helpful and have a pleasant, congenial attitude.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Which One Is It?
It seems that the breakfast schedule changes frequently. For example, on day there is a buffet then the next day you have to order your meal. The “fresh” fruit is not that fresh either, it comes from a can.
negative:
Pushed Out The Way
The hotel holds lots of events, and if one is taking place while you are at the facility, you don't stand a chance. They can be quite noisy and you can hear the happenings in your room as well. You may find there's no place for you in the lobby area either.
negative:
Living Walls
The walls in the room are quite thin. You will hear your neighbours conversations, toilets flushing, and you can be certain they can hear you too!
