Positive Reviews
positive:
Lovely location for business and personal travel
The hotel is largely marketed towards business travelers, and has become a favorite spot for them, as well as for leisure travelers. It's nicely located within walking distance to may popular Tokyo sites, and also conveniently located near train and bus stops. You can easily visit many sites of interest while staying in this lovely high rise.
positive:
Beautiful panoramic views from the hotel rooms
If you're interested in seeing skyline views of the city, you don't have to look further than the hotel. The higher your room location, the more you get to see right from there. It's a nice extra to have onsite, and also saves you money from going to tourist attractions that promote the same views you have at hand.
positive:
Spotless, well decorated, and quiet accommodations
The rooms at Hotel Century Southern Tower impress and well meet expectations. They're immaculate upon check-in and are consistently maintained by housekeeping. Decor is bright, engaging, fresh, and clean, and the place remains relatively quiet, with enough buffering between the floors and walls.
Negative Reviews
negative:
No bellhops, so have to deal with luggage yourself
Be prepared to have to handle your own luggage, navigate the rooms if the elevators are not working, and pretty much take care of a lot yourself. There's a great deal of self-sufficiency, which surprises some guests.
negative:
Poor Wi-Fi signal, especially for business matters
Wi-Fi reception is poor, which frustrates many, particularly guests there for meetings or other business matters. A sharper and stronger signal is expected, given the majority of clientele.
negative:
Language barriers are frustrating to deal with
Although the staff is multi-lingual, English may still be tough at times. Many hotel signs are in Japanese, and the staff try their best with English, but it's not always smooth communication.
