Negative Reviews
negative:
Not the best neighbourhood
As is often the case in areas that surround a main railway station, this hotel's neighbourhood isn't the best. Guests report that the hotel is located next to a drop-in centre for drug addicts and mention being distressed to see drugs being taken in the streets outside. The area is also a red-light district and can get noisy and rowdy during the night.
negative:
Staff could be more approachable
The members of staff at this hotel don't always provide an excellent level of service. Guests mention that the workers on the front desk are in their opinion sometimes dismissive and unhelpful.
negative:
Amenities lacking
Guests were disappointed to discover that there is no air-conditioning in their rooms. This means that it can get quite hot and stuffy at times, particularly during the summer. Guests also found it difficult to use the free Wi-Fi service on occasion.
