It's a bit hot in here
Temperatures do tend to be fairly moderate in Monterey throughout the year; however, on the occasions the heat gets to be too much, you will just have to suffer through it. Guests say there are no air conditioning units in the rooms of the hotel and things can get pretty warm and stuffy on those hot days.

Breakfast barely there
There is a complimentary breakfast offered at the hotel, but visitors point out there aren't a lot of choices offered and what was there was very mediocre. Guests add the breakfast room is also small and doesn't accommodate a lot of people at one time.
