Positive Reviews
positive:
Successful catering
Breakfast is exceptional and something you’ll remember. First class. Unfortunately, it comes with an additional cost tag. Later, when it’s time to relax, there’s a really nice bar with, occasionally, a live singer. Food in the attractive restaurant is equally impressive.
positive:
Stunning staff and facilities
Members of staff are very welcoming. Many of the reception people speak good English. Rooms are very clean and comfortable and the communal facilities are excellent. The gymnasium is well equipped and the business centre is open day and night, throughout the year.
positive:
Convenient location
From the hotel it’s an easy walk to parks, shops and restaurants. The airport transfer takes about half an hour and if you have pre-arranged transport, it’s stress-free and goes like clockwork.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Great! … Providing that someone else is paying
The hotel isn’t cheap. While most things are fine, they really should probably be just a bit better, given the hefty cost of staying here. One really niggling factor is that, although they charge an arm and a leg, they still have the audacity to charge extra for Wi-Fi. This is a short-sighted policy, particularly when they are intent on attracting business guests.
negative:
Limited access to facilities
You pay a higher room rate if you want access to the rooftop executive lounge area. Also, it’s only when staying in these rooms that breakfast is complimentary. If you book a cheaper room, you don't qualify for use of these facilities.
negative:
Corner cutting is noticed
Many guests have been coming here for years and they will tell you that there have been small but noticeable cutbacks over that period. Bathroom toiletries are less impressive nowadays and customer service has suffered too. Prices have increased though.
