Positive Reviews
positive:
Brilliant location for Frankfurt Messe
Of course it had to be the location, right opposite the trade fair grounds, that guests most appreciated about Maritim Frankfurt. It seems most guests were attending events there, and were very happy they did not have a long trip to get to and fro each day of their conference.
positive:
Good wellness facilities
On the whole, guests seemed to appreciate all the health and wellness facilities provided by the hotel. Most guests seemed to be business people attending events at the Messe, and they were happy that they could keep up with their fitness routine, or maybe even get a little bit of pampering at the spa, while on the road.
positive:
Nice views from the lounge
The hotel has a penthouse level lounge that many guests really enjoyed. They said that it had incredible views towards Frankfurt's Financial District, and certainly gave them an impression of having arrived in a very modern and sleek city.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Exceptionally expensive breakfast
While guests seemed to find the breakfast perfectly adequate, there were quite a lot of comments that it was exceptionally expensive. Though many did not have the time, it was speculated that there had to be much better options in nearby cafes.
negative:
No tea or coffee making facilities
While there is a minibar in each room, and tea and coffee are available from room service, many guests would have liked the ability to make themselves a quick hot beverage without all the fuss, and expense.
negative:
Very expensive
Quite a number of guests mentioned that they felt their room-rate was through the roof. Rates for all nearby hotels can be extremely high when major conferences are in town, and some guests were simply questioning whether the proximity to the Messe really justified the cost.
