Very decent breakfast
While there were some dissenting voices, the vast majority of guests commenting really seemed to like the breakfast. While variety was said to be somewhat lacking, what was there was said to be very tasty and well presented. It really set them up for the day ahead.
positive:
Very peaceful and quiet
Several guests seemed almost surprised by how quiet and peaceful the property was. It is next to a main road, but for reasons not really expanded on this did not seem to disturb the tranquil atmosphere.
positive:
Pretty good value for money
It seems that all the guests who mentioned it felt that they had received very decent value for money. Whatever small problems they had at the hotel were more than made up for by the reasonable room-rate.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Poor bedroom layout
Several guest mentioned that they did not like the layout of their rooms. Unfortunately they did not elaborate as to the reasons.
negative:
A bit of a mosquito problem
A surprising number of guests mentioned problems with mosquitoes. While they are almost inevitable in some climates, guest did not feel the hotel was doing enough maintaining the area around the pool, and this exacerbated the problem.
negative:
Wi-Fi has limited range
Guests mentioned that, while the Wi-Fi does work reasonably well in some rooms, it is a bit of the luck of the draw as to whether you're allocated to one of these rooms. The rooms further from reception were said to receive no signal at all, and guests would have to venture out to use their devices.
