Positive Reviews

Appealing location
The location of this hotel has consistently proved to be one of its most popular features. Guests have enjoyed staying in one of Brisbane's inner suburbs while avoiding the general hustle and bustle of the CBD. There's plenty to see and do in the immediate area and ample public transport to help you explore the wider surroundings.
positive:
Friendly service from staff
Bar a handful of exceptions, guests have agreed that you can look forward to good service here. Guests have found the staff is friendly and welcoming and happy to help with any questions or problems brought to their attention.
positive:
Clean and well equipped rooms
Although a small number of guests have felt that the en-suite bathrooms could be improved, the general standards of the rooms here are found to be good. Guests have consistently described the accommodation as clean and well equipped and are often particularly appreciative of the balconies.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Traffic noise can be an issue
While this area is definitely quieter than the CBD, it doesn't entirely escape noise pollution. Depending on which room you are allocated, some traffic noise appears likely. Guests have also occasionally mentioned some internal noise although this does seem fairly rare.
negative:
Limited availability of free Wi-Fi
Guests note that although this hotel advertises free Wi-Fi, you will be limited to a set amount of data each day, after which an hourly fee applies. Guests have also sometimes mentioned that they found it tricky to connect to the Wi-Fi.
negative:
Restaurant occasionally disappoints
Guests tend to enjoy the food here but do occasionally comment that breakfast seems a little overpriced. Another area of frustration is that the restaurant doesn't always appear to open for evening meals.
