Internacional Design Hotel (Lisbon, Portugal)

The hotel is in a perfect central location for exploring Lisbon. There are two plazas directly across from the hotel. Some rooms have tremendous views of the city and the Castle of St. George. It is only a five minute walk to the nearest metro station. Taxis, buses and trolleys all stop across the street. There are numerous restaurants, shops and markets within easy walking distance. The neighbourhood is clean, fun and friendly. Options for eating and drinking are endless.

The hotel staff is so friendly and helpful. They are very outgoing and pleasant and happy to help recommend restaurants for dinner and will even help make your reservations.

The hotel interior decor is very trendy and modern. Each floor has a different design and theme categorised as Urban, Tribe, Zen, and Pop. The rooms are also very modern, with mostly in white decor with large photography prints and king size beds. All of the rooms feature state-of-the-art Nespresso coffee machines and L'occitane products.

Some guests felt that the hotel rooms and en suite bathrooms were rather small. A sliding glass door separates the bathroom from the bedroom. Some guests were opposed to this layout, claiming there is no counter space and it is difficult to get in and out of shower.

Some guests felt there was not enough space in the room to store clothing or luggage.

Since the hotel is located across the street from a busy plaza, room accommodations may echo excess noise at night. Light sleepers may have difficulty sleeping.
