Positive Reviews
positive:
Clean, comfortable, "like-new" rooms...
The ibis Styles Brussels Centre Stephanie opened in 2012, and many guest find they still feel "new", modern, and comfortable with good beds, nice lighting, and decent free wi-fi. The "extras" of a fridge and microwave are much appreciated, and the windows offer a good amount of soundproofing from the busy street below.
positive:
A fresh breakfast and free coffee...
Few guests fail to thankfully mention the complimentary coffee and tea in the lobby, and many can find enough variety in the complimentary breakfast buffet to get off to a good start several days in a row. Those who don't fancy the breakfast note there are many alternatives nearby, and though the top attractions are a bit of a hike - Grand-Place is about 20 minutes if you know the quickest route - the location is widely considered central enough for sightseeing.
positive:
Pleasant and professional staff...
The staff are widely described as very friendly and helpful. Guests are also appreciative of the on site parking and fitness centre, as these amenities are not available in every ibis location.
Negative Reviews
negative:
A bit crowded at breakfast...
Several guests note that the breakfast area fills up quickly with hungry guests in the morning, though the staff does a good job of maintaining the buffet.
negative:
Not much on television...
International travellers note there are not very many English channels on tv beyond BBC, and the strength of the wi-fi signal seems to vary room to room.
negative:
On the small side...
Though the hotel is a renovated older building and the rooms are not all identical, the general opinion is that none are particularly large, and the largest bed available is a double.
