The location is great with plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. There's a state park close by if you like cycling and there are great biking trails too. The beach is also close by. It's simply a super area that has easy access to lot of activity.
There are a number of amenities to help make your stay more convenient. For example, they have electric hook-ups for vehicles, an ADA compliant swimming pool, a huge outdoor chess game, a gazebo, and a nice wrap around porch for chilling out during the summer evenings. You are also supplied with towels, umbrellas, chairs, and sun screen for you visit to the beach.
The B&B is well maintained. The exterior landscape is lovely with beautiful shrubbery, blooms, and various other greenery. The rooms have the original 1905 charm, which is impressive and kept in good condition. The overall setting is private and welcoming. There's even a hammock for complete outdoor relaxation.
Plenty of logging trucks pass by the B&B, and they are loud. They travel at all hours through the day and night. If possible, request a room away from the road. You might want to bring earplugs as well.
The bathroom is quite small. In fact, it can get so cramped that when you sit on the loo your knees hit the door.
There are three dogs that have the run of the B&B and they do bark. If you are not comfortable with pets, this may be an issue for you.
