Positive Reviews
positive:
Great various views.
Each window in each room offers guests various views to enjoy. From looking up the mountain to the skiers having fun, or over the courtyard and the picturesque scenery below at the base of the mountain, guests will always have something to look out their window at.
positive:
Great snow passes.
At Wisp Resort, guests only go for one reason during winter, and that is to ski. The snow on the mountain offers great trails and passes for one to spend hours navigating while snowboarding, or skiing. Enthusiasts will have a lot to look forward to.
positive:
Maintenance super-man.
The maintenance man onsite is quick to respond to any problems, and quick to fix anything that needs fixing. His prompt response ensures guests are seen to quickly, even if he just has to do a temporary fix, until further repair needs to be done.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Pool has seen better days.
The onsite swimming pool is rather unkempt, and could use
with a good clean. The pool is still usable, but many may find a dirty pool to
be a rather unpleasant place in which to dip one's toe.
negative:
Update required.
While comfortable, the rooms are a little tired looking and
could do with a sprucing up. Guests will find that while they have no
complaints, the wear and tear is beginning to show in the rooms. This is not
that big of a deal, but effort from the hotel's behalf makes one's stay that
much better.
negative:
Pricey prices.
At Wisp Resort, guests will find that the new owners have changed a lot of the rules and regulations, such as returning/regular customers no longer receive the same benefits as they did once before with their seasonal passes. Unfortunately, the prices have gone up, and may cause frustration in some.
