Positive Reviews
positive:
Handy public transport links.
Those who stayed at Vier Jahreszeiten Berlin City Kreuzberg mentioned that they had great public transport possibilities available, thanks to the U-bahn station just across the road, which easily connects to many of Berlin's attractions.
positive:
Plenty of Kreuzberg bars, cafes and restaurants.
According to reviews, there is a huge amount of bars, cafes and international restaurants to be found nearby — and Kreuzberg is known for being particularly good for Turkish food — and guests reported a very characterful, gentrifying neighbourhood to explore.
positive:
Spacious, comfortable and fancy light switches.
Guests said that they came across comfortable beds, a good standard of cleanliness, and plenty of space in both the rooms and the bathrooms, in addition to tea and coffee supplies, free Wi-Fi and apparently rather fancy light switches.
Negative Reviews
negative:
No air conditioning, poor noise insulation.
The noise insulation here is reportedly not the best, with some guests occasionally reporting disruption from the street. On top of this, there is no air conditioning available, meaning that some guests had to open windows to cool down in summer, inviting more noise in.
negative:
Staff not very service oriented.
Although some people did find the staff helpful and efficient, others said they were not necessarily the friendliest, some said they were less than professional and not service oriented, and a few guests said the international language proficiency was not high.
negative:
Some found the area too sketchy.
Vier Jahreszeiten Berlin City Kreuzberg's location was not to everyone's tastes, since there is a lot of graffiti and street art, and groups of drug dealers and loiterers close to the U-Bahn station at night time. Nevertheless, the area is said to be fairly safe despite appearances.
