The guest house is not actually for long stays, but it's perfect for a day or two. The pub is nice and designed in a contemporary style and has a racing theme. Parking is nearby too.
The restaurant and bar area have been renovated and the facility is under new management. It's a real improvement and looks nice.
Don't be surprised if you find your room freezing. This is something that many travellers have had a problem with. If you are visiting during the cold months, you may yourself freezing. The covers for the beds are thin too. The bathroom has no radiator, so it will be cold regardless if the heat is turned on. The sink in the bathroom is tiny and the bathroom itself is pretty small. Overall, it's very uncomfortable. To the inn's credit, they are refurbishing and rooms will get a makeover as well.
Having to go to the back of the guest house to get to your room is creepy. The area was in a back alley with a bunch of cigarette butts strewn about.
Actually, the hotel does not have a breakfast included, but what you get in place of it is a surprise. A bottle of water, a pastry, a bag of salt & vinegar crisps, and two ginger biscuits is not exactly the best way to start the day.
