Guests raved about the lodge’s roomy suites with equally large en-suite bathrooms that were very clean and tidy, which guests were very pleased with.

The staff at the lodge is extremely helpful, friendly, and quick to attend to the guests’ needs; some guests raved about the attentive, welcoming reception staff.

Bloom’s Restaurant & Bar is the lodge’s on-site dining venue, offering lovely meals at a reasonable price. Including the breakfast, guests enjoyed delicious dishes like lasagne, fish pie, cheese & bacon burgers, and desserts like White Chocolate & Raspber

Some guests commented that some of the rooms at the lodge seemed to be a bit out-of-date, style-wise, but they still raved that the rooms were very clean, the beds comfortable, and the bathrooms spotless.

Although some guests were unhappy with the amount of noise they heard from nearby rooms, and even from outside the lodge, most were still overall pleased with the rooms, staff, and the on-site restaurant.

Some guests commented that if you have mobility issues the stairs may be difficult to negotiate and you may wish to request a ground floor room.
