About The Lodge
The Lodge specialises in offering weekend accommodation for single-sex groups and budget-friendly breaks for families and individuals mid-week.
Rooms vary in size and the largest, multi-bedded, room sleeps up to 11; flat-screen TVs and tea and coffee making facilities are included and most are en-suite.
Staff can assist guests with booking activities to enjoy during their stay, free parking is provided and the hotel also has complimentary high-speed Wi-Fi.
There are no dining options at the Lodge, but there is a cafe nearby which is a popular option for breakfasts, a fish and chip shop a short stroll away and restaurants such as Kayla Brasserie for Italian cuisine or the popular Chinese, Ocean City, 600-yards from the hotel.
The Lodge is well-situated for exploring the Town Centre and, for those travelling further-afield, the train station is a five-minute walk. Bournemouth's seven-miles of award-winning beaches are also close.

Freedom to enjoy yourself.
What many guests like best is that the atmosphere is relaxed, guests each have their own key and after the informative, yet entertaining run-down of the house rules for groups, guests are left very much to their own devices.

Powerful showers.
While not at all rooms are en-suite, the showers in both private and shared bathrooms are powerful, with plenty of hot water. You'll be provided with clean towels on a daily basis and the multi-bedded room boasts two showers.

Parking problems.
Parking is limited and, while there is technically one space per room available, the way in which some guests park mean that spots are further restricted. Previous guests have reported being blocked into the car park during their stay so many opt, instead

Be prepared for noise.
Whether you're staying as part of a hen or stag party over the weekend or as a family mid-week you are likely to experience some level of noise. Guests have suggested that the smaller guests mid-week make more noise than the groups returning from nights o

Don't expect a double.
All beds at The Lodge are either singles or bunk beds and, for those used to something larger, they may feel a little narrow. Presumably, you could push two beds together if staying as a couple, but you would need to pack your own double duvet.
