The 1-star Cat Inn is situation on the A1 just south of the beautiful Border town of Berwick-upon-Tweed. Built in 1740 as a farmhouse, The Cat Inn is still a perfect place to rest, enjoy good quality & value food, a homely family atmosphere and of course a beverage of two from the cosy bar. The Inn has six en-suite rooms for you to choose from. All rooms have a TV and complimentary toiletries and tea & coffee making facilities. Bedrooms at the front of the building can enjoy views of the coast, Holy Island and the surrounding Cheviot Hills. As well as the homemade chips becoming popular, the breakfast is certainly very popular - a hearty cooked (Boarders) breakfast to set you up for the day. Local or Scottish produce is used as far as possible, representing the location and mixed heritage as well as supporting local businesses. In addition to the standard menu, there are often daily specials, many of which utilise seasonal delights. A more personalised menu can also be offered on quieter nights and for those who have dietary requirements. The Cat Inn is an excellent location for exploring the area and the Scottish Borders, or holding your private party for that special occasion or just simply a night with friends.
