About The Highlander
The Highlander is a conveniently located base for exploring central Amsterdam with its eclectic range of museums and shops. Just a seven-minute walk from Centraal Station, this family-run property provides a selection of modern rooms.

While citadel’s Dutch buffet fare is not to everyone’s tastes, many were happy to get a basic, buffet breakfast for free given how expensive Amsterdam can be.

Guests found the rooms, bathrooms and beds to be smaller than preferred, as is often the case in Amsterdam, but if you do not plan to spend much time in your room, this should not be much of a problem.
