Positive Reviews
positive:
Clean basics for a quick stopover in Byfleet.
The Blue Anchor is a popular and convenient stop for business travellers who need a short stay in Byfleet, or somewhere right outside the Surrey hustle and bustle. It's basic essentials at budget costs, in a relatively clean setting. This is also a decent
positive:
Friendly staff make the stay a happier one.
The staff are very friendly, and very lovely to talk to. They enjoy sharing knowledge about the area, of what to do and where to go, and how they can best help you have a good time during your stay.

negative:
Continental breakfast isn't much of anything.
The breakfast is included in the cost of the room, but of such poor quality and quantity that it's thought of as insulting. Milk is past its freshness, so of no use, and the offerings are much smaller and scarcer than most expect for a continental meal.
negative:
Inconsistent room and shower temperatures.
Room temperatures can be too hot, and water temperatures can be too cold, which are frustrating and inconvenient. This is especially unpleasant when experienced within the same stay, as you just can't maintain the right settings for comfort.
