Positive Reviews
positive:
Active location but still quiet.
This motel provides relatively quiet stays, which comes as a shock to visitors considering how it is right in the middle of the action. A number of restaurants and highlights are nearby, including Lake Tahoe; which is 10 minutes away on foot.
positive:
Owners really make a difference.
A real homey atmosphere is found at this accommodation, largely thanks to the motel’s owners. Not only do they provide friendly and attentive service, but they have a wealth of useful local information and advice to share.
positive:
Property has a fresh feeling.
Private rooms at this motel have a very new feeling with a modern look. Great decor creates very inviting spaces that are complimented by popular little additions such as cloth bathrobes and Keurig coffee makers.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Air conditioners are badly needed.
Units at this motel are poorly ventilated and without air conditioning units, leading to very stuffy stays during spells of warm weather. While each room does have a ceiling fan, guests report this fixture is much too loud and bothersome to really be of use.
negative:
Guestrooms can be a little tight.
Each guestroom at this motel is well furnished, but that unfortunately takes up a lot of usable space. As a result, rooms feel a bit cramped and are not really suited for more than one or two guests at a time.
negative:
Mattresses are too firm for resting on.
Provided beds won’t suit every visitor. This is because the mattresses are incredibly firm and can be painful for people with sensitive back issues.
