About Temple
The Temple is housed in an 18th Century lodging house in the pretty Peak District town of Matlock Bath. Most rooms enjoy views over the Derwent Valley.
All rooms at The Temple are en-suite and come with complimentary toiletries. They also include Freeview TV, tea and coffee-making facilities, a direct-dial telephone, and a hairdryer.
Free Wi-Fi is available throughout, and free private parking is also available. “The Byron” breakfast room features a poem etched on glass by the famous romantic poet Lord Byron himself.
Breakfast is served daily at The Temple. For lunch and evening dining, a number of cafes and popular fish and chip shops are located nearby, in addition to some restaurants. The Temple has its own fully licensed bar serving real ales.
Matlock Bath is in the heart of the Peak District, and only a short drive from “Arkwright’s Mill” where the Industrial Revolution began.
