A favourite pass time for guests at the hotel was to relax and unwind on the spacious balcony. Guests said the balconies were large and had ample space to laze about. Guests also complimented the cleaning staff saying that the rooms on check-in were spotless.
Guests loved the pool at the hotel with many describing that these areas were their favourite. Other guests who prefer the beach were happy that the beach was only a ten minute walk from the hotel.
Guests said that whilst the kitchen is an older style it had all of the necessary cook tops, ovens, plates, cutlery and pots and pans for aspiring cooks to self-cater for their family and friends.
Guests were not happy to find that on arrival they had to pick up the keys to the apartment from another hotel owned by their hosts, which was two kilometres away. Guests said that there was no help from the hotel to pick the keys up and guests either had to walk or catch a taxi with their bags just so that they could check-in.
Guests staying more than a few days were disappointed to find that there was no daily housekeeping at the hotel. Guests also did not realise that basics were not provided and that they had to supply their own soap, shampoo and conditioner and in some cases toilet paper.
Guests warned future visitors that the location of the property is a fair walk out of the city centre and that if you wanted to see the local attractions you may need a car to get around.
