Great for stroll on the beach or nature hikes.
The hotel is just a few minutes away by foot from the beaches of Sandbanks where great uninterrupted strolls along the beach can reveal many surprises along the way. For those who prefer a bit more of nature, the grounds lead off to some challenging nature hikes, some ending on the cliffs above, offering fantastic views of the Isle of Purbeck and Brownsea Island.
positive:
Food with a view.
Guests have the opportunity to enjoy a great meal from a mixed menu of locally caught seafood or traditional and contemporary dishes, all while enjoying stunning views of the entire harbour and surrounding natural landscapes.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Slightly isolated location.
While the hotel offers excellent access to the harbour and neighbouring beaches and nature trails, the location itself is a bit far from the town centre of Poole and its own attractions.
negative:
Slow and inconsistent Wi-Fi.
Perhaps another concern with the location has to do with the hotels ability to provide a strong and consistent Wi-Fi signal for its guests. This generally does not affect too many guests other than those who wish to complete business as well as relax.
negative:
No lift on the property.
The hotel does not feature a lift and also spreads its rooms over a number of floors. This can make accessing floors above ground level difficult for those with physical difficulties or those travelling with a lot of equipment or luggage.
