Hosts can't do enough to help
The owners do all they can to help make your stay as pleasant as possible - quite literally! Guests vouch that they seem to do pretty much everything - from welcoming you at reception to serving the breakfast. This seems to be a real labour of love though as they are always friendly and helpful and do all they can for you.
positive:
Comfortable rooms
Guests find the rooms and the en-suite bathrooms pretty much impeccable. Very comfortable, spacious and well-equipped, there is hardly a bad word to be said about them!
positive:
Great location near the sea
The hotel has a royal location right on the sea-front. Guests love being able to step out of the door and get down to the beach or stroll along the promenade in minutes. All the shops and restaurants are easily accessible too.

Breakfast doesn't please everyone
The breakfast selection doesn't please everyone - particularly with different nationalities having varying preferences! The nature of the guest reviews, however, seems to have changed recently with more and more glowing references. A lot of recent comments say that it exceptional, filling and very diverse.
negative:
Coffee leaves a bad taste
Some guests find having to pay extra for the coffee machine's capsules a bit distasteful. They feel that tea and coffee making facilities should be provided in the rooms free of charge.
negative:
Parking can be a problem
Out of season parking appears to be quite easy and non-problematical for most guests. Some people though just don't like leaving their vehicle on the street. The hotel does offer some private parking - for a fee - even if it is some distance away. Some guests would advise you to take them up on this offer in busy periods when free parking is difficult to find.
