positive:
Perfect base for exploring Tinseltown on foot
This hotel really couldn’t be any more conveniently located as it is just a block away from all the enticing sights and sounds of Hollywood Boulevard, and within an easy walk of pretty much everything else the area is famed for. Perfect.
positive:
Free parking is a real bonus
Anyone who knows Hollywood well will know just how invaluable it can be to find free parking this close to Hollywood Boulevard. The fact that this hotel offers (some) free parking really is definitely a huge plus.
positive:
Wi-Fi is pretty solid
You don’t need to worry about being able to post all your glamorous pics online when you’re staying here; the Rodeway Inn Hollywood’s Wi-Fi is just as fast and reliable as you’d want it to be.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Pool isn’t very inviting
Many guests have been left disappointed by the less-than-inviting state of the outdoor pool. If you don’t fancy swimming in green-tinted water and avoiding detritus as you do so then you’ll probably have to look elsewhere for your dip…
negative:
There’s nowhere to eat breakfast
It’s great that the hotel offers a free breakfast; however, it’s not so great that they don’t provide a dining area to eat it in. If you do turn out for breakfast here then do yourself a favor and bring a bag, that way you can take your chow back to your room…
negative:
Front desk staff could be more hospitable
It has to be said that the guys who man the front desk aren’t the warmest or most welcoming hospitality workers you’re likely to come across. Perhaps the safety-first plexi-glass they’re forced to hide behind for their own protection has a negative effect on their demeanor..?
