Hotel Relax Inn Dover (Dover, USA)

The motel is small and looks rather bland on the exterior; however, the rooms are a nice size and adequately clean. The bed is separate from the living room area and there is a table, sofa, and chairs. The rooms have a nice smell and the building is in pretty good shape. It's not bad for the price.

The hotel personnel are friendly and helpful. They provide suggestions about the area and take care of your concerns, even if they act a bit sluggish at times.

At least the hotel location is easy to find. It's near a major highway. The museums are nice and so are the cultural art centers, which are not too far from the hotel.

There is no coffee machine and no breakfast. It seems that they hotel would at least offer breakfast whether complimentary or for a fee. On the other hand, it's not a four or five star facility and the price is cheap. There are a number of eating places in the area as well.

The carpet is badly stained and needs replacing. At first it's hard to tell if it's grime or just a natural part of the carpet design, but no, it's dirt! Don't walk around with your bare feet.

You may find that the light fixtures or shower fixtures do not work properly. To the hotel's credit, they do have enough outlets in the room, which is not common in many hotels, to recharge your devices.
