Positive Reviews
positive:
Stunning location.
The sprawling red landscape of Moab is truly a sight to behold, especially from the comfort of a private patio. All of the views at Red Cliffs Lodge are designed to make you feel as immersed and awestruck by the area's natural beauty as possible.
positive:
High-quality meals.
The dinner options at the on-site grill are both hearty and reasonably priced, making it an excellent stop after a long day of exploration. You can also indulge in the breakfast buffet or Sunday brunch, if you're looking to start your day with a satisfying meal before hitting the trails.
positive:
Closeness to Moab's center.
Red Cliffs Lodge is well within driving distance of the city center, making it a great starting point for exploring both the rural and more urban aspects of the Moab area. The on-site tourism desk will do its best to direct you around both areas, making it a must-have resource for your trip.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Some modernization needed.
While much of the charm for the property's cabin rooms and suites comes from a sense of old world beauty, there are some outdated aspects in need of replacement. The televisions and general decor should receive some attention to stay current.
negative:
Plunging temperatures,
Be aware that if you're visiting in months outside of summer, you may want to bring along some blankets. The temperatures in Moab can drop to an extremely cold level by nightfall, but many of the rooms aren't suited to handle the change very well.
negative:
Pool maintenance.
Several guests noted that the pools were constantly in a state of repair, making it difficult to use them on a reliable basis. This may simply be due to seasonal changes affecting the pool's quality, and generally isn't too upsetting in the wider context of a trip, but should still be noted.
