On the contrary, the overwhelming majority of guests thought they had done an excellent job getting their room ready before check in and continued the good work by keeping them in tip top shape during the course if their stay.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Area looks abandoned
Guests didn’t really like the immediate area the hotel was in. It was described as looking abandoned and so made them feel a bit uneasy. There were said to be train tracks nearby, but these seemed abandoned, with not much apart from the hotel and a few stores nearby.
negative:
Musty smell
Many guests, when first walking into the hallways and their rooms, noticed a musty smell. Though no visible signs of mold were reported, they felt that there must be a problems caused by damp that was hidden in the walls.
negative:
Problems with the bathrooms
An extraordinary number of guests mentioned problems with their bathrooms. One fairly common complaint was that the toilet didn’t flush.
