The standard of accommodation here is high. Guests enjoying staying in the apartments and particularly like the comfortable beds and spacious nature of the rooms.

Guests can't fault the location of this hotel. They love being close to the high-end shops in Emporium Melbourne and the East End theatre district and Chinatown are a short walk away. Thanks to the nearby tram links, the MCG and Rod Laver Arena are also easily accessible.

If you find it difficult using stairs or plan to travel with a lot of luggage, bear in mind that the lift in this hotel doesn't reach every floor. Guests found the stairs to the Urban Basement Apartments a little challenging and there are also stairs within some of the two-level apartments which can be a little tricky for some guests.

Unfortunately, there are reports of some noise disturbance at this hotel. As well as the usual noise from outside one might expect in a busy city like Melbourne, guests also mention that they could hear music until the early hours coming from a bar next door.

Unlike some other hotels, Wi-Fi access is a chargeable extra here. This is a disappointment for guests who feel that it should be included in the room rates.
