Positive Reviews
positive:
Unbeatable beach access
The site of the hotel is on the very edge of a marine reserve, and not only is the beach lovely and sandy, but there are also wide stretches of natural dune vegetation. Guests looking for a bit of a wilder experience than is typical on the Spanish coast really enjoyed the unique location.
positive:
Good entertainment and activities
Both those with families, and others, liked that the hotel put on a decent amount of entertainment, and also organised activities. While certainly not obligated to take part, many liked that they were available in case sitting by the pool with a cocktail started to get a bit boring.
positive:
Plenty of on-site parking
Quite a few guests mentioned that there was more than enough on-site parking available, so they never needed to struggle to find a spot when returning to the hotel.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Site is quite remote
While guests certainly liked the beach and the wild aspect of the dunes, they obviously paid for this by being some way from the streetlife and nightlife of Guardamar del Segura. The property does not seem to be best suited to those looking for very active nightlife.
negative:
Rooms not well soundproofed
Unfortunately this was a fairly common complaint. Guests say that there doesn't seem to be any sort of sound insulation between the rooms, so sound travels through the walls like smoke through the air.
negative:
Very poor Wi-Fi
There were a large number of complaints concerning the Wi-Fi. For a start, the hotel offered both free and premium (paid) options. The free is described as all but useless, only available around reception, and not very good even there. But even the premium Wi-Fi was described as very unreliable, simply crashing every now and then.
