Positive Reviews
positive:
Central Amsterdam location.
With all the most popular Amsterdam museums within easy reach, a tram station close by to reach all the rest, and Vondelpark a two-minute walk away for a weekend stroll with the locals, locations don't come much more central than the one Omega enjoys.
positive:
Good budget option.
Luxury it is not, but if you want simple, basic accommodation with hot showers, plenty of towels and an excellent location, Omega could be a good budget option for you. Beds are comfortable so you have a cosy place to lay your head after a busy day taking in the sights.
positive:

Negative Reviews
negative:
Redecoration required.
Several previous guests have commented upon the current state of the hotel's décor and have suggested that a lick of paint here and there would greatly improve things. Others have said that the pillows and bed linen have seen better days and that mattresses do not always seem to fit the beds they accompany.
negative:
First come first served.
Breakfast is a 'first come, first served' affair. Previous guests advise arriving early to ensure you have plenty of choice or, at the very least, a seat.
negative:
Some rooms larger than others.
Rooms vary and while some are spacious, others are fairly compact. You can, of course, request a larger room if this is important to to you. Staff are usually happy to oblige if they have the availability.
