All of the staff share the common intent of helping to make sure you have had a good time during your stay. They're prompt in responding to enquiries and making adjustments when necessary, and will happily arrange for transport or advise as to the best routes and the best sites to see.

At times, the rooms could do with a once over to check that everything has been refreshened. There have been stains, dust and dirt piles, unswept crumbs, and other traces of the surface being cleaned, but not deeply, or between layers.

The menu quality and presentations range from wonderful and delicious to poorly cooked, nothing special, and considerably overpriced. You may experience only one impression of the meals, or you may experience a range during your stay.

If you find steps to be challenging then you should let the staff know that an upper room may present problems. The stairs are plenty, and easily walked up and down.
