Negative Reviews
negative:
Location not the best for attractions
The location of the Oban House Hotel, despite being in a supposedly quiet North Shore area, is far from the best when it comes to visiting the most famous attractions that Blackpool has to offer - a sentiment shared by some previous visitors. The town centre, for example, is close to two miles away from the hotel.
negative:
Small and basic rooms
Although it is not the case with all of the accommodations, a number of past guests have mentioned that some of the rooms at the hotel are noticeably compact. In addition, the rooms are seen as somewhat limited in terms of amenities.
negative:
No-thrills but memorable choice
Whilst it is small and offers little in the way of public facilities, few had a problem with this particular negative about the hotel. In fact, the vast majority of former visitors would recommend the Oban House Hotel as a comfortable place to stay when visiting Blackpool.
