Positive Reviews
positive:
Quiet area, close to everything.
The hotel is situated in a prime area of Marrakech; surrounded by other luxury hotels, ensuring it is peaceful and safe. All the major sights and sounds of the City are within walking distance, however, if you wish to journey further afield there is a bus stop right outside.
positive:
Well-designed rooms.
Many guests mention the unique, and very practical, design of the suites. Each one is spacious and has both a bathroom and separate toilet; essential for families, and the kitchenette facilities are well laid out.
positive:
Child-friendly.
Children are more than welcome at Suite Novotel Marrakech, and the hotel plays host to many families during peak season. Babysitting can be booked, on request, and while cots can be provided for suites, larger families can opt, instead, for interconnecting rooms.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Limited breakfast selection.
For many guests breakfast at the hotel is a disappointing experience; the selection is limited and largely continental; with few hot items, and only machine coffee is provided. For most, however, the most frustrating thing is the lack of tables in the breakfast room, apparently insufficient for the number of guests in peak season.
negative:
Staffing levels need a boost.
Checking-in at the hotel can, according to previous guests, be a fairly long and tedious process and, while it only needs to be done once, it could be made far simpler if staffing levels on reception were increased during busy periods.
negative:
Cleaning standards could be raised.
Some repeat visitors have suggested that cleaning standards have been slipping as of late and that towels, in particular, seem to be in short supply; several guests have checked-in to rooms only to find them missing. Worth checking your towel rail before you get in the shower.
