Positive Reviews
positive:
Ideal location for frequent flyers.
With a free car park and complimentary shuttle to the terminal building, the hotel is ideally located for those flying elsewhere. If your method of transport has four-wheels rather than wings, you can also access major highways with ease from the hotel.
positive:
Surprisingly quiet rooms.
Given its proximity to the airport, most would expect that rooms would be noisy, however, this is not the case. Soundproofing is excellent and, unless you like to sleep with your window open, you're unlikely to be experience any noise disturbance.
positive:
Excellent fitness facilities.
Many previous guests at NH Luxembourg have described the fitness facilities as among the best they have experienced; with top-of-the-range equipment, stunning views across the airfield and plenty of water available.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Few spaces available.
Car parking is free but, despite this, you may find it difficult to find a spot during busy periods. Whether this is down to an inadequate number of spaces for the amount of guests or, if others utilise this area as an unofficial airport car park, is unknown, however, most suggest that road parking is available nearby if you find yourself in this situation.
negative:
Outdated in places.
Previous guests have suggested that the hotel is beginning to look dated in places, with fraying carpets and faded décor in the corridors. Rather unusually, others have noted an odd detergent odour in the same areas. For most, however, these minor points haven't detracted from the overall enjoyment of their stay.
negative:
Uninspiring dining options.
With its airport location in mind it is, perhaps, unsurprising that there are few choices for dining nearby. The hotel does serve well-cooked, good-quality food, although some find the options uninspiring and suggest that the menu could vary more frequently.
